Abraxas provides tailored design and testing services for Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs): custom computer chips that provide unique capabilities in a variety of defense applications. Our TS/SI cleared engineers have an average of 20 years of industry experience, and possess a breadth of knowledge that spans communications, high-speed computing, and other product areas. Design
From creating exacting specifications for digital semiconductor devices from operational concepts, to functional verification, firmware, and physical design and verification, our skilled design team has the know-how to see projects through seamlessly, from genesis to implementation. Our ASIC work encompasses the lifecycle of design, testing, and delivery: it begins with initial feasibility analysis, development of detailed specifications, writing and synthesis of Register Transfer Level (RTL) code, then moves on to creation and testing of the physical device, and ends with management of silicon fabrication, test, and assembly services.

Testing
Abraxas engineers maintain close ties to our public sector clients, providing on-shore fabrication, testing, and assembly of components, using leading-edge technology. We have extensive experience with testing and characterization of high-speed digital and analog/mixed signal components. These include PC drive test fixtures, bench test equipment, and obscure device requirements such as ultra-low current and ultra-high frequency. Our rigorous testing standards ensure that any ASIC or other components our clients produce exceed necessary standards of quality and reliability.
